Notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of George will hold a PUBLIC HEARING to receive comment on the proposed 2025 annual Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Map, and Development Regulation amendment cycle. This includes updated land use maps, an urban growth area land use change application, and revised Comprehensive Plan outdated data, that could be adopted via a non-project legislative action by the City Council.
The public hearing will be held in front of the City Council on Nov 18th, 2025, 7:00 pm at George Community Hall, 403 W Montmorency Blvd. George WA 98824.

You are invited to attend this public hearing and provide comments. If you cannot attend, written comment will be received until 9:00 pm Nov 18th, 2025 and may be mailed to P.O. Box 5277, George, WA 98824 or emailed to cityclerk@cityofgeorge.org.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the George City Council in the George Community Hall located at 403 W. Montmorency Blvd. George, Washington on October 21, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as called by the City Council The hearing will be to consider testimony for and against the following: the proposed 2026 Ad Valorem Tax for the General Purpose Levy, and the 2026 Preliminary Budget and may be continued thereafter to subsequent City Council meetings.
The 2026 Preliminary Budget will be on file, at no charge, in the Office of the Clerk on November 19th, 2025.
